Our Objectives

As set out in the Sanstha's Memorandum of Association (Schedule B, 1 September 2015), among the Sanstha's 20 registered objects are:

  • Provide education facilities for tribal and backward-class children from pre-primary to university level.
  • Establish and run schools, rehabilitation centres and vocational training for differently-abled persons.
  • Run nurseries, child-care centres and welfare schemes for children.
  • Support the rehabilitation of widowed, deserted and unsupported women through savings and skill training.
  • Provide employment-oriented vocational training and guidance for competitive examinations to youth.
  • Run tree-plantation, cleanliness and public-awareness camps under national welfare programmes.
  • Organise health camps, blood donation and de-addiction awareness programmes.
  • Promote Marathi language, literature, drama and folk arts through cultural events.
  • Establish libraries and encourage reading, study and research.
  • Support agricultural science awareness and training for farmers.
